HCVP (Section 8)

The Chattanooga Housing Authority's Housing Choice Voucher Program assists low-income families, seniors, and the disabled in securing safe housing in the private market. Funded by HUD, it subsidizes rent directly to landlords, enabling participants to choose suitable accommodations. Currently managing 4,030 vouchers, the program offers access to affordable housing.

Managed Properties (LIPH)

The Chattanooga Housing Authority manages 2,300 affordable apartments across 14 locations, including single-family dwellings and high-rise apartments. Serving families and seniors, these sites operate under federal and state programs like public housing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit. Income limits vary by program and household size, ensuring accessibility for low-income individuals and families.
